About us
At Roosfoos, everything starts with a sketch, a slab of metal, and the belief that the things we live with—and give—should last. I design and cast each pewter piece by hand in my shop in Springfield, Oregon. Every mold is made in-house, and every original is sculpted by me—sometimes from aluminum, sometimes clay or wood, depending on what the piece calls for.
This isn’t mass production. It’s a small-batch, one-person studio where care goes into every step. I’ve been working with pewter for over 25 years, and I still find joy in turning raw material into something meaningful—whether it’s a set of measuring spoons that become part of someone’s daily ritual, or an ornament meant to mark a memory.
My designs are what set Roosfoos apart, but it’s the intention behind them that I hope people feel most. These aren’t disposable things. They’re gifts made to be used, loved, and kept—pieces that carry thought and craft, meant to bring a little extra meaning to the moment they’re given.
Whether you're here for a wedding gift, a kitchen tool, or just something that makes you smile, thanks for supporting handmade.
